Information we use
Public business information is displayed to help people find services in Colne. Firebase Authentication provides sign-in for administrators and approved listing owners, and the directory stores the account identifier needed to manage an approved listing.
When you submit an addition, claim or correction, Netlify processes the information entered into the form so the request can be reviewed. Do not include information that is not needed for the request.
Analytics, advertising and cookies
Colne NearMe uses Google AdSense to display advertising, Google Analytics to understand aggregated website use, and Microsoft Clarity to understand navigation, clicks, scrolling and usability through privacy-masked session recordings and heatmaps. Google’s certified European consent message presents choices to visitors in the UK, EEA and Switzerland. Google tags are configured to support the Transparency and Consent Framework and to default storage permission to denied while a consent decision is pending. Microsoft Clarity applies consent mode for visitors in these regions and masks sensitive content by default.
You can refuse non-essential processing in the consent message. Where a service offers a privacy-options control, you can use it later to revisit that choice. Browser controls can also remove stored cookies.
Sharing and retention
Information is shared only with service providers needed to operate the directory, such as Firebase, Netlify, Google advertising or analytics services, and Microsoft Clarity. Submissions and account information are retained only while reasonably required to operate, secure and improve the directory or meet legal obligations.
Your choices
You can request access, correction or deletion of account information, report an inaccurate listing, or ask a privacy question by emailing maderealdesign@gmail.com. Business changes can also be submitted through the listing request form.
